Blue Owl Press — About Us
Blue Owl Press, Inc., is an S-Corporation with headquarters in South
Dakota.
It was formed to
be the umbrella company for projects related to trading systems,
including consulting, books, workshops and seminars.
Over the past several years, we have assisted traders with trading
system development, and we have presented seminars and workshops.
Our first book, Quantitative Trading Systems, was published
in April 2007.
It has been very well received and has been sent to over 35 countries.
Our second book, Introduction to AmiBroker,
was published in October 2008.
Our third book, Advanced AmiBroker, is in preparation now,
with publication anticipated early 2010.

Principals
Howard B. Bandy, President
Howard has degrees in mathematics, physics, engineering, and
computer science.
His did graduate studies at Case Western Reserve University,
where he earned his PhD in Computer Science.
While at Case, he concentrated on artifical intelligence, applied
mathematics, modeling, and simulation.
He was a university professor of computer science and mathematics,
a department chair, and a university dean.
He has held a variety of programmer, analyst, and management positions
in business and industry.
He was vice-president and designer of a major product for a company
that produced programs for stock selection and timing.
He was a senior research analyst for a commodity trading advisor
where he held a Series 3 license.
Howard handles most of the consulting, writing, and speaking for
Blue Owl Press.
Mollie K. Bandy, Vice President
Mollie has degrees in nursing and biology.
She has completed all the requirements for her PhD in Marine Biology.
She has held a variety of staff and supervisory positions in
hospitals and clinics.
She was manager of a fishing lodge on Kodiak Island, Alaska.
Mollie handles most of the administrative duties for
Blue Owl Press.
